Walker's Sitter serves all your house and pet sitting needs. We travel to your destination and make sure your property and furry loved ones are given the care they deserve in your absence. Walker's Sitting specializes in one-week to six -month property and pet sitting jobs. We offer you the unique ability to visit your pet or property online while you are away. We understand that each situation is unique and are willing to personalize your service as much as possible to serve your needs. Your peace of mind is our goal.

Who We Are

Daniel Walker is a 1999 Graduate of Georgia College and State University with a degree in marketing. He loves sports, outdoor activities and of course all animals. He has held managerial positions with a Chevron distributor as well as a Miller Brewing Co. distributor. For the past three years Daniel has worked in the decorative concrete field before deciding to work in the service industry.
Melinda Walker is 2001 Graduate from the University of Georgia. She began her career as a District Executive for the Boy Scouts Of America. In 2006 Melinda started Athens Pet Sitter. Athens Pet Sitter has become a successful business that has allowed Melinda and Daniel to gain vast experience in caring for other's pets and property. Melinda is an avid reader who loves spending time on the beach or in the mountains and most of all with Sophia.
Sophia Walker is a two year old little girl who is full of energy and love.

Experience

Walker's Sitting is an off shoot of Athens Pet Sitter which is a successful service business in North East Georgia. We have cared for all kind of animals from Lizards to Llamas, and Birds to Bulldogs. Over the past four years we have remodled three houses and done or managed every type of home maintenance or improvement possible. We are a very responsible, fun loving, easy going couple, capable of getting along in any situation. In short, a joy to work with.
